Laura and Jeff – June 11, 2011
Simply Weddings Las Vegas │ Las Vegas Wedding Planner
We had the great pleasure of meeting Laura and Jeff in the Fall of 2010. Both frequently traveled from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Las Vegas and shared their first few dates in Sin City where they quickly fell in love with one another.
Laura and Jeff were intrigued by the newly built CityCenter and knew that they wanted their wedding to be a part of the multimillion dollar Mecca complex. After several days of brainstorming, we came up with the idea of hosting the ceremony inside THE Gallery. This is an art gallery that was designed for the World-renowned artist Dale Chihuly, it is a dramatic exhibition venue located at CityCenter. The 4,350-square-foot space features a diverse representation of Chihuly’s dynamic sculptures, drawings, fluid glass forms and prints. Not much décor was needed for the ceremony, as the art work was a grand showcase all by itself. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, guests sipped on Starry Night champagne and indulged into the oversized artisan food display created by the chefs at Aria.
The dinner reception was held inside of Aria at Jean Georges Steakhouse. A swanky steakhouse, the menu featured some of the highest quality meats and seafood from around the world, complemented by an innovative array of side dishes and home-made sauces.
The reception concluded with bottle service and dancing at Gold Lounge
This glamorous lounge was inspired by Elvis Presley’s Graceland, the lounge’s modern decor consists of design patterns found within the Memphis mansion and black and gold color palettes that exude sophistication and a sense of refinement. A great alternative to the pulsating vibe of a vibrant nightclub, GOLD Lounge allowed Jeff and Laura’s guests to enjoy cocktails in an unrivaled space that transports guest into a relaxing and unwinding state of mind complimented by the artistic and visually arresting scene all around.
Jeff and Laura’s wedding incorporated so many different venue elements and experiences, guests were in for surprises all night long.
